My Background
I've worked a 9-5 lifestyle since I'm 18. (I am now 27)At one stage, I hoped to be an air hostess but my arms are too short so that wasn't possible (yes arm requirements are a thing because you need to be able to reach peoples luggage' I get it lol). I studied animal care to be a vet nurse, but the pay in Ireland is not good and I need good pay. So I worked in telecommunications as customer care agent/ team leader and operations. Before I quit my job to travel Latin America for 4 months.
How I Got Started
Backpacking Latin America, or any continent for that matter was never on my cards. However, In January 2023 I travelled to Latin America for the first time, Costa Rica🇨🇷 This side of the world is SO different to back home, in my opinion for the better. So I returned to work, left my job in February, and began solo travelling through latin America in March for 4months and these 4 months have been the finding of me and my most alive moments ✨️
Top Destinations
For me, my favourite country is Colombia. This country has everything from gorgeous coastlines, jungle like mountains, vibrant cities however, for me it is the people of Colombia who make me love this Country so much. This place is where I felt the most generosity, warmth and welcomed.
While Colombia is my favourite country, Manuel Antonio in Costa Rica is my favourite place on this world. Here I lived a simple but happy life filled with the best sunsets, monkeys on the beach, so much wildlife and nature. My home away from home.
